Just Add Water started with eight yards of cotton lace my Grammy gave me and a challenge to myself to start designing again. I didn’t know what it was going to become—I just started making. Working with one fabric opened up an exploration of monochromatic design and pushed me to see how much I could change the feeling of the same material through draping, pattern making, layering, and construction.
